About AFRIKANA
Afrikana CIC is a social enterprise dedicated to building an inclusive, informed, and compassionate community. We provide a creative and supportive hub where Afro-Caribbean cultures are celebrated, mental well-being is prioritized, and people of all backgrounds, especially immigrants, connect, thrive, and contribute to shared progress. Through cultural exchange, creative expression, and community-led initiatives, Afrikana CIC nurtures resilience, solidarity, and meaningful social integration.
Our Mission
Afrikana CIC exists to provide a safe, supportive, and dynamic space for cultural exchange, mental wellness, artistic expression, and social connection. Through inclusive programming and collaborative action, we promote anti-racism, immigrant integration, empowerment, and a strong sense of belonging for all, especially marginalised groups and new community members.
Our Vision
Afrikana’s vision is to build an inclusive, informed, and compassionate community where immigrants and locals connect, thrive, and contribute to shared progress. Afrikana CIC envisions a vibrant hub where people of all ages and backgrounds nurture creativity, foster mental well-being, celebrate Afro-Caribbean cultures, and strengthen community bonds.
