We are excited to warmly invite you to our East African Night on 14th March 2026 at the Afrikana Centre in Carlisle, from 6PM to 9PM. This free community event is our way of bringing people together to celebrate the beauty, warmth, and richness of East African culture through authentic food, music, dance, games, and shared experiences. Whether you are familiar with East Africa or discovering it for the first time, you will have the chance to enjoy a hot traditional meal, learn basic Swahili phrases, take part in fun cultural activities, and connect with others in a welcoming and joyful environment. Come dressed in East African attire if you wish, or simply come as you are—everyone is welcome.
